Translated this because I couldn't find a full translation to english of the lyrics. All that I found was of the part of the song used in the opening of Hakaba kitarô.
In the murky darkness, the Mononoke*0 dance
In the depths of darkness, the Mononoke Dance
Seen from the veranda, the Mononoke glance*1
Appearing and disappearing, the Mononoke stance
The dead are crazy, a bottomless sensation
Transforming in the midnight, from now on, it will never end.
Devouring the children, the Mononoke transe*1
Hiding in your basement, the Mononoke glance*1
That old wives' tale, a manji*2 in your palm.
These odd neighbors, from now on, it will never end.
A giant in the temple, incarnation of the scarab.
The circle of cadavers, from now on, it will never end.
But no one ever cares, being honest.
But no one ever cares, being honest.
*0 - Old Japanese word for an evil spirit.
*1- These words were altered to keep the rhymes with dance. The words replaced were: Deyansu (particle that adds politeness in some dialects) with glance and Tansu (cabinet) with transe.
*2- Japanese name for the Buddhist swastika.
